It's running fine for me with on my M1 Air 8GB. Doesn’t work as well as crossover but it’s free.
Porting kit is a free wine based solution. I have a 2020 MacBook Air and I’ve literally tried everything, GeForce is laggy for me parallels and bootcamp need an intel processor, and crossover has issues🤦🏽♂️ Is there anything else to try? It’s like a windows-to-Mac translator thing. Long shot but you could try bundling the ps2exe executable with wine: Winebottler. I have tried installing PkHex on Macos Monterey on M1 and it doesnt work.
